Partner

Orrin brings nearly two decades of experience in political advertising, strategic communications, and campaign management, in campaigns for the Senate, House of Representatives, Governor, and numerous statewide races and ballot propositions.

  • In 2024, Orrin successfully led campaign and media strategy for the most competitive congressional districts in the nation.

This included Congressman Derek Tran, who, in the most expensive House race of the 2024 cycle with over $46 million spent, defeated entrenched Republican incumbent Michelle Steel in a California Red to Blue seat.

Working with Congressman Dave Min, Orrin oversaw a campaign that was outpent 7-1 in a bruising primary election victory, and went on to win California’s 47th Red to Blue District, which Republicans had identified as their “top-target” of the 2024 election cycle.

Orrin was also proud to partner with California Congressmembers Gil Cisneros, Sam Liccardo, and Frontline Indiana Congressman Frank Mrvan.

Along with serving as media consultant to California Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, Orrin’s down ballot successes include helping California Senate Democrats regain their supermajority in 2018, and San Diego Democrats gain their first majority on the Board of Supervisors in a generation.

In 2014, Orrin was campaign manager for Alex Padilla for California Secretary of State, which resulted in Padilla becoming the second Latino official ever elected to statewide office in California’s history.

A Los Angeles native, Orrin drove from Hollywood, to Des Moines, Iowa, in 2006 to work for then-Senator Barack Obama in the Iowa caucuses. Described as a “field whiz” by Politico, Orrin led organizing and Get-Out-The-Vote efforts in Iowa, California, Texas, and Indiana throughout the 2008 Presidential campaign.

Orrin served as Senior Advisor to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, overseeing communication strategy on Administration initiatives including First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's Rural Tour.

Orrin is a graduate of Columbia University, and lives in Los Angeles with his family.
